pre-test-interview

Pre-test interview

The interviewer will ask the examinee to complete online questionnaires which could cover everything from gang membership, terrorism associations to employment history.

Followed by application, questionnaire, video and language selection, security code generation

The examinee will then:

a) complete the questionnaires and be given opportunities to make any pre-test admissions or confessions

b) confirm that they had answered all the questions truthfully

c) sign accordingly.

A security code will be generated, which the examinee will produce at the time of the test appointment.

The interviewer will then select a presenter from the video library which
is used when the person takes the test.

They will also select the required language.

These video presenters will communicate with the test participant via a monitor in the testing room, providing them with all the information and instructions they will require to complete the procedure.

The room operator will place the VAST System attachments onto the candidate.

These attachments will collect the physiological data throughout the screening process.

This data is then used to determine the final test results.

The VAST System will then automatically download the selected video presenter and the actual questions to be asked during the test.

Within 20 minutes the test will be complete and the VAST operational software will have collated and encrypted the results from the test participant.

The record will also contain items of the person’s details, security code, consent signature and the data from the test itself as well as the results of each question asked.

To do this the VAST System utilises an innovative and original data acquisition device.

These measurements (raw data) are then analysed for any significant fluctuations in response to questions being asked by the video presenter during the screening process.

Within 20 minutes the test will be complete and the VAST operational software will have collated and encrypted the results from the test participant.

The record will also contain items of the person’s details, security code, consent signature and the data from the test itself as well as the results of each question asked.

This data is automatically transferred back to the requesting client along with the diagnostic decision.

No data or screening files are left on the operating system, which immediately allows it to be used for the next screening candidate.
